These Plastic Hair Pipes make an excellent economical alternative to the hand carved bone hair pipes. They look very close to the real thing. These 4" are the standard size used in breastplates, but you may want to also use the smaller 1" or 1 1/2" size for the center row of a breastplate. They are also used for drops and costume decoration.
